The Musbury Tor strikes an impressive silhouette on the horizon of Helmshore village in Rossendale, Lancashire. Rising higher than its neighbouring fells, sloping symmetrically either side to its flat summit, and crowned with a garland of dark rocks, it is easily recognisable for miles around.
